Happy Anniversary!

Two years today I married the most perfect man for me! Newlyweds no longer we find ourselves still being I'm sure annoyingly 'newlywedded' with our doting and loving and outward affection. We don't care though, we can't help it! We've been in each other's lives for 5 years and I still feel butterflies but comfortable like we've never not been together.

Tyson is my puzzle piece, he fills in my gaps, weaknesses and emotional, physical, spiritual and mental needs in my life and makes me whole. I can't stop smiling writing this post which gets me all giddy all over again.

[November 16, 2007]

We giggle about how many times a day we tell each other how much we love each other and kid that its all we talk about, I mark it as the greatest conversation piece though! I love his companionship and am spoiled that we both work from home for the most part so we get to be around each other so much, what a blessing.

To have loved and to be loved is one of the greatest gifts in this life and I'm so grateful I can share my life and forever with my handsome man.

Love you babe!

The Renaissance Fair in San Diego

Over the weekend Heather and I had a chance to travel down to San Diego. We haven't been down to visit in over 2 months, so it was nice to get away and spend some time with family and friends.

On Saturday morning I went golfing while Heather met up with her twin sister Heidi and friend Roxanne. They enjoyed a great breakfast by the coast.

On Saturday afternoon we went with my parents to a Renaissance Fair. If you haven't been to one of these before you are missing out! It is one of the best places to go and people watch. These characters come out of the wood works to put on quite a spectacle for everyone to see. Here are a few pics of what we saw.

Saturday night Heather and I went and saw of the dumbest movies EVER... called 'The Box'. I would give this movie a D rating. Don't waste your time or money and don't go to this movie!

We decided to wear our Renaissance costumes to fit in... oops
Where's Waldo? didn't exist back then... they had Where's Merlin?
Real beard, Real beads, Real weird.
This lady takes the cake! Check out her contacts, fangs and the REAL snake on her head!
These two pirates could eat Heather and my Mom for an afternoon snack
This hippy pirate was having the time of his life after the pint of Rum he drank
What did you say? You have a headache?

This is Rediculous

I was watching Sportscenter the other night and this was one of the stories... This is Rediculous

Fashion Week Part II

The after party was where it was at, it was a total blast and it was the official after party for all of L.A. Fashion Week with Jerell Scott and Kato Momolu, both finalists from Project Runway and we got to accessorize Jerell's looks again for the after party runway show and help throw the party, it was sooooo much work but a blast.

[Friends, Justin and Emily came to support:)]

Tys was such a good host to our guests and helped me out mega! I was slammed with hosting people and accessorizing and running things with the media on the public relations side of things and Tys was such a good supporter, he helped with the guest list, getting people in and of course making it a party for everyone around him, I'm so lucky to be married to a man that lets me do my thing and supports me in so many complimentary ways--thanks babe:)!

snagged Jerell for a pic, he's so great

We had an awesome opportunity to be a part of L.A. Fashion Week with Jerell Scott. We're colloaborating with him for a new line under the True Birds label and so Heidi and I designed hair accessories for his Spring 2010 collections shown at L.A. Fashion Week in October.

More info. at our True Birds blog and on Teen Vogue about our collab.

These are pics from our first runway show. It was so incredible to have Tyson there (he's always there but it means so much every time!) and Tammy drove up in mad traffic and navigated L.A. from San Diego--Thanks Tammy! Best Mother-in-Law ever and so supportive of Heidi and I. It meant so much to both Heidi and I to have her there!
